Courtney Wood

Courtney Wood, WHNP

Courtney brings more than 13 years of nursing experience to her role with Women’s Healthcare, and has had the privilege of caring for women throughout some of the most important moments of their lives.

Her nursing career began with seven years of experience in the operating room, followed by six and a half years working in labor and delivery. These experiences have provided her with a strong foundation in surgical care, obstetrics, and women’s health, as well as a deep understanding of the importance of supporting patients through both routine and life-changing experiences.

Driven by her passion for women’s health, Courtney continued her education at Regis College, where she earned her Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) degree. She is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based, and individualized care while building trusting relationships with her patients.

Courtney believes every woman deserves to feel heard, respected, informed, and confident in her healthcare decisions.

Outside of the office, Courtney enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children—one daughter and two sons. When she’s not caring for patients, she can often be found horseback riding or working on the family farm, where they care for a variety of animals, including horses, a miniature cow, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, and alpacas.

Courtney feels fortunate to combine her passion for women’s health with her love of caring for others and looks forward to partnering with patients throughout every stage of their healthcare journey.
