Mia Garner

Mia Garner, FNP-C

Tamia (Mia) Garner, MSN, FNP-C, is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong passion for women’s health and pregnancy care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wesleyan College after attending The University of Alabama, and later obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Western Governors University.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Mia worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse for four years, where she developed a deep love for caring for women throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery. In addition to her clinical experience, she served as a preceptor and clinical instructor at Central Georgia Technical College, helping guide and mentor future nurses entering the profession. Her experience at the bedside helped shape her compassionate, patient-centered approach and strengthened her commitment to supporting women through every stage of life.

Mia is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her patients. She wants to know you on a first name basis. She especially enjoys helping women feel informed, confident, and empowered in their healthcare decisions.

Outside of work, Mia enjoys spending time with her daughter, she also enjoys shopping and making memories with friends and family.
