What is a midwife?
Midwives protect normal birth. Their education and training equips them to recognise the variations of normal progress of labor, and understand how to deal with deviations from normal.

Comprehensive midwifery care is includes prenatal care, birth, and postpartum — all customized to meet your unique needs and preferences. Having a baby is an enormous responsibility. Birth can also be a powerful and positive experience for a family when they welcome their baby. In the past this responsibility has been given over to doctors and hospitals. Today more and more women are turning to midwives to help them have the birth they desire.
